The 2018 edition of the Louzan1000 took place on March 11, 2018. Starting at the Pousada da Juventude da Lousã and arriving at Trevim, the highest point of the Lousã Mountain, with the participation of about 250 athletes.

The winner was Guilherme Lourenço of Crp Ribafria with the time of 00:47:42, Bruno Silva of G.D Estreito with the time of 00:49:43 came second, followed by Diogo Gomes of Abutres Trail Running School with the time of 00:51:03.

As for female participation, the victory went to Daniela Russo of Oralklass-Amigos Do Trail with the time of 01:03:03. followed by Carolina Serrazina and Glória Serrazina of Crp Ribafria with the times of 01:08:13 and 01:09:24 respectively.
